Kevin S. Davis, MD

Dr. Kevin Davis was born and raised in Sevierville, Tennessee. He attended medical school at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. Dr. Davis attended medical school on an Army scholarship and spent his medical residency in Hawaii.

Dr. Davis is married and has 2 daughters.

Dr. Davis was a practicing Ob/Gyn from 1998 to 2002 at Fort Stewart Army Base near Savannah, Georgia. He became board-certified and then a Fellow of the American College of Ob/Gyn. He and his wife returned to the North Georgia Mountains in 2002 to raise their two daughters and open a medical practice serving women’s health needs.

His practice covers the scope of obstetric and gynecologic care. Areas of interest include infertility, wound care, and auto-immune disorders of pregnancy.

 


Cynthia C. Mercer, MD

Dr. Cindy Mercer is a native of Georgia. She was born in Macon and raised in Gray GA. She attended Mercer University School of Medicine and went on to complete her OB/GYN residency at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon, GA.

Dr. Mercer is married and has 1 daughter.

She loves living in Blairsville, GA and serving the Union County and surrounding areas. Her practice encompasses all aspects of obstetric and gynecological care, including preventative care, urogynocology, infertility and high risk obstetrics.

Dr. Mercer is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Her hobbies include reading, movies, fishing and traveling.

 


Kimberly Denton, MD

Dr. Kimberly Denton is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist who has been caring for women in Fannin County for more than 16 years. Dr. Denton's family has lived in this area for generations, and while growing up, she knew she wanted to be a doctor and practice here.

Dr. Denton received her undergraduate degree from North Georgia College and her medical degree at Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia. She completed her residency at the University of Tennessee, Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga.

Dr. Denton joined Union General Women’s Health in May 2018.

Dr. Denton enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter.

 


Benjamin Harris, MD

Dr. Harris grew up in Southeast Texas. He attended Texas A&M University receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Science in 1993. He then attended Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock Texas where he received his doctorate of medicine degree in 1998.

From Texas Dr. Harris then moved to Wichita Kansas where he attended his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. Upon completion of his residency in 2002 he returned to Texas and practiced for four years.

The mountains of Georgia called to Dr. Harris and his family and he moved to Blue Ridge to begin his practice in 2007. He joined Union General Women’s Health in May 2018.

When not delivering babies at the hospital Dr. Harris enjoys photography, traveling, attempting woodworking projects and spending time with his two children.
